The Brunswick House is located in the historic annex district and is one of Toronto's oldest Taverns, established in 1876. The Brunny is one of Toronto's best destinations and is enjoyed by the neighborhood regulars, both young and old. Although newly renovated in 2005, the style and decor has maintained the history of the Brunswick House and Also brought it into the 20th century with 10 draughts on tap and a new extensive menu. The Brunswick House always guarantees a memorbale experience while, while enjoying Toronto history.

Comment: i'm at the brunny mostly every weekend and its always the same type of music. im not saying that its bad, i'm nott saying that top 40 and all that other stuff isnt nice. i'm just saying play to all crowds. a couple of times that i have been there, i've walked around and talked to some of the black people and they would always ask me when the reggae would come on. then i would as the dj and he would tell me ssoon. but then when it came on it would only be rum and redbull and na sell out me friend. i love the brunny but you want to make more money? start playing a little more reggae. dont change up your style. just throw in a little more newer hip hop and reggae like when i was there for caribana, i think thats the most fun i've had there. the dj was playing everything. soca reggae top 40 house like that was fucking amazing. the one soca song thatt everyone loves is palance. eveyone can dance to soca. try it out and seee what happens.

Comment: brunny is a nice place to go to. decent looking girls, some what lively crowd, cheap drinks. never had a problem with the bouncers there; theyre mighty friendly when i talk to them. from what i see whenever i go there, looks like girls are looking to get picked up, so go get em!

Comment: My first time coming here was a pretty good experience. The drinks are decently priced, the bouncers were cool and everyone was just there to have a good time. But after returning there last night - in hopes of having another good night - my opinion of the Brunswick House has drastically changed. Apparently my jeans were "too baggy" despite having worn them the last time I was there 2-3 weeks prior -- They fit a bit loose cause I dropped a size within the last couple months. First the balding one told me to go home and change.. After I proceeded to tell him I live in Whitby, he felt a bit guilty and was leaning towards letting me in. He passed the decision, on whether or not to let me in, to the black bouncer who then proceeded to insult my attire like a snobby school girl, which was VERY unnecessary. A few other people were also turned away because they weren't dressed according to one of the bouncer's tastes (don't know his name so I'd have to refer to him as the black one). The bouncers that were handling the doors last night were on a power-trip and are costing the Brunswick house more than they're worth. When I go out drinking I spend around $100 and sometimes more each night. Thanks to these bouncers I won't be returning to the Brunswick House nor will my group of friends. It's too late to change my decision but Abbis, if you actually read these comments, you should do something about this idiot. Keeping him would be bad for your business.
